Before you start to train I would strongly recommend you get clearance from a medical professional.
You don't need to get a gym membership or the latest training gear. You just need to get moving!
Putting regular training alarms in your phone or reminders on your fridge is an easy way to increase your 'Physical Activity' level
A perfect starting point is to walk around the block once or twice and time it. Start with every second day then progress to 5 times a week.
Write down your times and monitor yourself. Set goals! Or even better "gamify" it with your household or friends. Everyone has some sort of competitive spirit within them, you just need to find it.
To me Motivation is one of the most important attributes a person can possess, especially during the start of their Journey.
The secret is that you need to find what motivates you! This may stay constant throughout your journey or it may change as your lifestye or fitness changes.
A motivator could be to;
Fit into certain clothes again?
Prevent yourself from future diseases?
Have more energy?
Initially Motivation may be the only thing that gets you out of the house and to the pavement, park or gym, but it will only get easier as you get fitter and closer to your goals.
As your trainer I will help you get Motivated with Fun, Sweaty & Educational Sessions.
Read this amazing quote!
"The chains of habit are too weak to be felt until they are too strong to be broken" - Samuel Johnston.
The word habit literally means - a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.
Now you know what a habit is, my question to you is; do you have good or bad daily habits?
Try to swap or change up your bad habits for good ones. Whether it's consuming loads of processed food or a lack of exercise. Take it one step at a time and slowly your lifestyle will change without you barely knowing.
Training or being 'Physically Active' will eventually come naturally and you will reap the benefits from it.
When you train with me my personal goal is to help you achieve these positive daily habits.
I'm an Exercise Physiologist that focuses on getting my clients, strong, pain free and as fit and healthy as possible.
It's my job to motivate, educate and get you more than just results.
Currently based in Port Melbourne and ready to take on new clients.
Don't train to make anyone happy but yourself. At the end of the day no one is going to finish that last set, but you!
Remember it's your Journey, and yes I will be there to help along the way but you need to WANT to change for the right reasons first.
