So what do my clients actually think about the way I train?

"When I started with Nick, it had been 3 months since I had an ACL hamstring reconstruction on my right knee. My strength and functional ability was poor, and my confidence was even worse.
Training with Nick has given me the motivation and skills to get my leg back to its full strength, without risking further injury. He is extremely knowledgeable, and always finds creative ways to get around any issues, or movements that I cannot manage, in a safe way.
My leg is now completely back to normal, which I credit to Nick and his combined PT and physiotherapist style approach. I cannot see how I would have managed this alone.

I trained with Nick for a year while he was in the UK. I originally signed up for a PT on a bit of a whim thinking I could get a bit fitter and maybe lose a bit of weight. While this was true, it turned out to be a much greater journey than that.
Nick taught me how to use machines in the gym properly; corrected my technique in exercises I'd been doing poorly for years, such as squats and most importantly he taught me how to lift heavy - something I had never even considered before.
This completely corrected my posture and changed my body composition.
Just over a year ago, I didn't know what a deadlift was and the other day I lifted 60kg on my own at the gym and I know my technique was perfect thanks to Nick.
He also taught me how to eat properly to fuel my body; introduced me to my new best friend/enemy- the foam roller; taught me how to structure my workouts and workout schedule; got rid of my knee injury I'd had for years from running and helped me understand my hip injury.
He didn't just manage this because he is extremely knowledgeable, which he is, he is also hilarious and incredibly easy to get on with - I would not have got up at 5am to train with him twice a week if he wasn't.
I haven't decided whether I will get another PT partly because I have learnt so much from Nick but mostly because he is a huge act to follow.
Nick is a unique PT - someone who always wants to learn more and improve himself and those around him. He provides a full 360 training service from training, and nutrition to massage and physio. No stone is left unturned.
He listens closely to each of his clients and works out in his own way how to bring the best out of each person and the results speak for themselves. But this is where Nick is special - the journey is even more fulfilling than the end game....
I was his first client in London my wife followed shortly after and when he left London he had an army of clients hoping he would change his mind.
I only envy those lucky clients that follow us.

I worked about with Nick for about 9 months and it was life (and body!) changing. I was coming back from two pregnancies which then was unfortunately followed by a serious road traffic accident, leaving me with quite a bit of work to do to rebuild strength, confidence and fitness. I could not have asked for a better trainer to help me on that journey.
Nick has the skill, passion and personality to help you drive better performance and get results. He works you hard, but nothing feels too hard - it is all within your capabilities if just ever so slightly outside your comfort zone. He gives you a good level of challenge meaning you can do what is required whilst also always improving all the time. I always looked forward to 'getting it done!' with Nick. It was fun!
It was important to me to train with someone who could work with the legacy of my injuries and help me deal with them. Nick's knowledge of anatomy and experience of working with many people proved hugely valuable in optimising the outcome of my training. He really cares about your outcomes and is dedicated to helping you achieve the best outcome possible. I felt in very safe hands and knew that I was not only getting fitter and stronger, but also improving my ongoing symptoms and building resilience to future injury.

If you are looking for a personal trainer or even thinking about it then I can not recommend Nick highly enough.
Having never worked with a trainer before and being someone who was intimidated by the weights room in the gym I did not know quite what to expect when I starting training with Nick.
I should have been prepared to sweat, work harder, lift more and push myself to do things I did not think I could do. With Nick it is a given that workouts are lung busting and muscle burning.
However, correct technique and learning to activate and feel the muscles being worked is something that Nick drilled into me. The coaching did not end once our sessions were over, as Nick put together workouts that I could do on my own and was always answering my texts about training and nutrition.
If you want a PT who will teach you, push you, motivate you and be happy for you when you reach your goals then look no further than Nick. He has certainly changed my life habits. I am no longer intimidated by the weights room and look forward to my next workout. Thanks Nick

Training with Nick has been a complete life changing experience. I have suffered from a frozen shoulder for years and through targeted training stretching and trigger point massage Nick has cured my shoulder. By helping me understand the importance of posture and working and stretching supporting muscles I now live pain free!
Nick is passionate about helping his clients reach their fitness goals and he is always striving to learn and improve his knowledge to do this. Nick has changed my whole attitude to fitness. I feel like I can do it, that I'm continually improving and most importantly I can feel and see the benefits in my body.
